LIGHTING SYSTEM

FUNCTION

1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

   Function	Outline	Lights that Operate
   Actuation Area-linked	When the electrical key transmitter or card key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on. When the electrical key transmitter or card key leaves all of the actuation areas around the doors, the lights that operate turn off.    Door Lock/Unlock-linked	When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on. When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.    Door Open/Close-linked	When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on. When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.    Engine switch-linked	When the engine switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.	Dome Lights Foot Lights Display Illumination Light Inside Handle Illumination Lights Ornament Illumination Lights Armrest Illumination Lights Meter Illumination Light*1
   	When the engine switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.	Dome Lights
   Shift Position-linked	When the shift position is moved from P to any other position, the lights that operate dim.	Foot Lights Display Illumination Light Inside Handle Illumination Lights Ornament Illumination Lights Armrest Illumination Lights Meter Illumination Light*1
   Delay	When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off: An actuation area-linked function is operated.    	When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off: The door unlock-linked function is operated. Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the engine switch is off.    Battery Saving	When 20 minutes elapse after the engine switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off. The battery saving function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off. The engine switch is turned on (ACC) or on (IG). Any door is opened and closed. Any door is unlocked. The electrical key transmitter or card key enters any exterior actuation area.    Interior Light Auto Cut	When no changes occur in the condition of the lights switches on for 20 minutes, these lights turn off.	Dome Lights Map Lights Vanity Lights

   *2: Only the lights on the same seat as the door that was opened illuminate.
