  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. An EN (European Norm: European Standards)-compliant and open type battery is used, and it is installed under the luggage compartment.

    2. A battery hose is provided to effectively direct gas generated by battery electrolysis out of the vehicle.

    3. Particular attention was paid to disassembly positions of the deck board so that the battery is easily accessible when inspecting and servicing the vehicle. The battery can be accessed by simply removing the tool box and luggage compartment mat sub-assembly.

    4. A slope is provided in consideration of the burden when inspecting and servicing the battery. The battery can be easily removed by using the slope.

    Note

    Use a genuine battery specifically designed for use with the stop and start system or a battery with equivalent specification to a genuine battery. If an unsupported battery is used, stop and start system functions may be restricted to protect the battery. Also, battery performance may decrease and the engine may not be able to restart.
