PARKING SUPPORT BRAKE SYSTEM


  1. OPERATION


    1. Indicator Display


      1. When the parking support brake system is off, the PKSB OFF indicator illuminates.

      2. When a malfunction is occurred, the PKSB OFF indicator blinks, the meter buzzer sounds, the master warning indicator blinks and warnings are displayed on the multi-information display in order to inform the driver of a system malfunction.

    2. Parking Support Brake System Operation Display


      1. When the parking support brake system operation conditions are met, a warning is displayed on the multi-information display, the PKSB OFF indicator illuminates/turns off and the meter buzzer sounds to inform the driver. For details, see the Parking Support Brake Control section.

    3. Warning Display


      1. When a malfunction occurs in the parking support brake system or the parking support brake system is temporarily unavailable, a warning is displayed on the multi-information display, the PKSB OFF indicator blinks, the master warning indicator blinks and the meter buzzer sounds to inform the driver that the system is unavailable.
