SYSTEM CONTROL
ANC Function
Based on the muffled sounds in the cabin detected by each active noise microphone and the vehicle condition signals from each ECU, the stereo component equalizer assembly calculates the control signals corresponding to respective speakers in the front No. 1 speaker assembly (RH), front No. 1 speaker assembly (LH) and rear No. 3 speaker assembly, and then sends the signals to the 3 speakers through the stereo component amplifier assembly.
The front No. 1 speaker assembly (RH), front No. 1 speaker assembly (LH) and rear No. 3 speaker assembly output electronic control sounds with an inverted phase to the muffled sounds, achieving muffled sound reduction.
ESE Function
Based on the vehicle condition signals from each ECU, the stereo component equalizer assembly calculates engine order component sound signals for the speakers in the front No. 1 speaker assembly (RH), front No. 1 speaker assembly (LH) and rear No. 3 speaker assembly and then outputs the signals to the 3 speakers through the stereo component amplifier assembly.
The front No. 1 speaker assembly (RH), front No. 1 speaker assembly (LH) and rear No. 3 speaker assembly generate engine order component sound to create realistic engine sounds.
DIAGNOSIS
If a system malfunction is detected, the stereo component equalizer assembly stores Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in its memory. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.
