BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM(w/o Vacuum Brake Booster)

  1. SYSTEM CONTROL

    1. When the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal when starting off on a hill, hill-start assist control maintains the brake fluid pressure of all 4 wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling backward.

    2. When starting off on a hill, hill-start assist control allows the driver to slowly switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal in a relaxed manner without the vehicle rolling backwards. Furthermore, occasions in which the parking brake is required to prevent the vehicle from rolling backward has been minimized.

    3. When starting off on a hill with a slippery road surface, the driver does not need to swiftly depress the accelerator which can lead to unnecessary wheelspin.
