Shift solenoid valves SL1, SL2, SL3, SL4, SL5 and SL6 are used for clutch and brake engagement hydraulic pressure control.
Shift solenoid valve SLU is used for lock-up clutch hydraulic pressure control.
Shift solenoid valve SLT is used for line hydraulic pressure control.
Each shift solenoid valve directly controls the clutch and brake engagement hydraulic pressure to reduce the number of valves and shorten the fluid path, improving shift response and reducing shift shock. Also, the valves are designed to support high hydraulic pressures, resulting in fewer friction materials and valves that are lightweight and compact, which contributes to overall transmission weight reduction.
