  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The camera sensor (forward recognition camera) is composed of built-in camera and built-in ECU.

    2. The RSA system is controlled by the built-in camera and built-in ECU.

    3. Road signs captured by the built-in camera are output to the built-in ECU.

    4. The built-in ECU judges road signs recognized by the built-in camera and displays information based on these judgments on the multi-information display and headup display*.

    5. When one of the following operations is conducted, the camera sensor angle must be adjusted. For details, refer to the Repair Manual.


      1. The camera sensor is removed and reinstalled or replaced.

      2. Parts relating to the tire or suspension are replaced or adjusted.

      3. Strong force is applied onto the camera sensor.
