  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The oil pump is combined with the timing chain cover assembly and operated by the chain.

    2. This oil pump uses an internal relief method which circulates relief oil to the suction passage of the oil pump. This aims to minimize oil level change in the oil pan sub-assembly, reduce friction, and reduce the air mixing rate in the oil.

    3. An oil pump rotor with a high efficiency shape is used. The oil pump rotor diameter is decreased in order to reduce friction.
