COOLANT FLOW

    1. A water control valve is used to optimally control the flow rate of the coolant by switching the coolant path and adjusting the flow rate depending on the operating condition of the engine, achieving improved fuel economy and air conditioning performance.

    2. A drive belt operated mechanical water pump is used.

    3. A cross flow type radiator is used.

    1. Engine Coolant

      Type Toyota Genuine Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) or similar high quality ethylene glycol based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite and non-borate coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology (coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology is a combination of low phosphates and organic acids). Do not use plain water alone.

      Tech Tips

      SLLC is pre-mixed (50% coolant and 50% deionized water), and therefore does not need to be diluted.
