COOLING FAN SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    ECM Sends control signals to the cooling fan controller (fan with motor assembly).
    Cooling Fan Controller (Fan with Motor Assembly) Operates according to signals received from the ECM.
    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (Inlet) Detects the coolant temperature near the inlet (near the water inlet assembly).
    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (Outlet) Detects the coolant temperature near the outlet (near the water control valve).

  2. FUNCTION


    1. The cooling fan control system achieves an optimal fan speed in accordance with the engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed, engine speed, and air conditioning operating conditions.

    2. The cooling fan motor (built-in cooling fan ECU) steplessly controls the speed of the fan in accordance with the engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed, engine speed and air conditioning operating conditions.
