CONSTRUCTION
The structure of the oil pan is divided into 2 parts, using the No. 1 oil pan sub-assembly, made from aluminum alloy, and the No. 2 oil pan sub-assembly, made from press-formed steel plates.
Ribs are provided inside the No. 1 oil pan sub-assembly to increase overall rigidity, reducing the amount of noise and vibration transmitted into the cabin
Ribs are effectively positioned in the No. 2 oil pan sub-assembly to improve surface rigidity, reducing vibration and noise.
A convex shape is used for the oil pan drain plug installation area, improving oil drainability during engine oil replacement work.
