CONSTRUCTION
Two engine mountings are provided on each side of the engine and one engine mounting is also provided at the back of the transmission.
Aluminum engine mounting brackets are used for reducing weight, vibration, and noise.
Hydraulic engine mountings (Front Engine Mounting Insulator) are used, to generate damping force against unit vibration due to the road roughness and achieve a comfortable ride.
A solid rubber mounting is used for the rear engine mounting (Rear Engine Mounting Insulator) to firmly tune the spring characteristics in the longitudinal direction in order to suppress uncomfortable front-to-back vibrations, and also contributes to greater responsiveness when accelerating and decelerating.
