FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS
The main components in the mirror heater control system*have the following functions:

SYSTEM CONTROL
When the rear window defogger and mirror heater switch are turned on with the engine switch on (IG), rear window defogger and mirror heater switch on signals are output to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. The air conditioning amplifier assembly, which inputs these signals, outputs mirror heater operation request signals to the front multiplex network door ECU LH/RH, and the front multiplex network door ECU LH/RH heats the mirror heater in the outer rear view mirror assembly LH/RH.
The air conditioning amplifier assembly counts the time of the timer, and after the mirror heater is continuously on for approximately 15 minutes, it stops outputting the signal. Also, under the specified conditions*, another 45 minutes (at the muximum) is added to the operation time.
