      5. Interruption Display


        • When a warning is necessary, the warning message interrupts the current display on the multi-information display.

        • A warning message is displayed via an interrupt display when a vehicle malfunction occurs to warn the driver. Also, an advice message is displayed via an interrupt display depending on the situation, such as when the driver must proceed with caution.

        • The master warning light may illuminate or blink and the buzzer in the combination meter assembly may sound depending on the item displayed on the multi-information display.

        • The intersection guidance*, telephone display, audio feedback and volume feedback content displays are linked with the multi-media system and displayed via an interrupt display.

        • When the rheostat switch is operated, the adjust brightness interrupt display is displayed.

    3. Maintenance Required Reminder Function (Destination Package for Korea)


      1. The maintenance required reminder will appear to inform the driver of maintenance requirements. The maintenance required message is displayed on the multi-information display.

      2. The combination meter assembly calculates the vehicle driving distance based on signals from the skid control ECU assembly.

      3. There are 2 types of warnings: one is displayed when the accumulated vehicle driving distance is 9800 km or more since the last time the system was reset, and the other is displayed when the accumulated driving distance is 10000 km or more.

      4. The maintenance required reminder functions as follows:

        Warning Method 9800 km or more 10000 km or more
        Multi-information Display "Maintenance required soon" warning appears for approximately 15 seconds "Maintenance required Visit Your Dealer" warning remains on
      5. After the required maintenance has been performed, the accumulated vehicle driving distance memorized in the combination meter assembly should be reset to zero using the setting function displayed on multi-information display.

        Tech Tips

        After initialization is complete, "Initialization Completed" will be displayed on the multiinformation display.
