    1. A theft intrusion sensor is provided in the map light assembly.

    2. If the intrusion sensor detects an inappropriate entry into the vehicle interior or, a warning signal is sent to the main body ECU.

    3. The intrusion sensor detects intruders by sending an ultrasonic wave and detecting differences in the frequency of the reflected wave.

    4. The intrusion sensor, which is linked to the theft deterrent system, sets automatically when the system transfers to the armed state (and the setting of the theft deterrent system is completed).

    5. When the intrusion sensor detects a moving object in the vehicle or that the door glass is broken, the system transfers to the alarm state. Then, the system sounds the horn and theft warning siren assembly intermittently and blinks the hazard warning lights for approximately 27.5 seconds and performs forced locking operation.
