  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Along with the use of the air intake control system, an air intake control valve is provided on the air cleaner assembly of each bank.

    2. A removable air cleaner cap sub-assembly is used in consideration of replacement serviceability. Also, a fine fiber layer is added on the paper filter surface of the air cleaner element to improve cleaning performance.

    3. An intake air sound creator is used, controlling engine sound balance to provide an exciting and refreshing sound.

    4. The fine fiber sound absorbing material, which is also utilized as an air guide, is positioned in the air cleaner assembly to reduce intake pressure loss and high-frequency engine noise, improving the balance of the engine sound.

    5. A carbon filter, which adsorbs the HC that accumulates in the intake system when the engine is stopped, is used in the air cleaner assembly in order to reduce evaporative emissions. This filter is maintenance-free.*
