OUTLINE
Flush surface type door outside handles are provided that retract flush with the outer panel surface while driving, and a flush handle system that electronically extends and retracts the door handles is used to achieve a vehicle that has had particular attention placed on its design and driving performance.
Flush surface type door outside handles are used to achieve superior aerodynamic performance by eliminating protrusions such as door knobs.
The flush handles operate as triggers when entry unlock/lock operations are performed, and they have a clean design that keeps the outer panel surface free of switches.
Door outside handle illumination lights, which illuminate the door surface under the flush handles when they have been extended by an unlock operation, etc., have been provided in consideration of entering the vehicle at night.
The customization function of the Global TechStream (GTS) makes it possible to adjust and change the settings for each function.
PRECAUTION
When a flush handle is frozen and stuck, and an entry unlock operation cannot be performed normally, perform a wireless unlock operation to extend the flush handle. If the flush handles still do not extend, use hot water to thaw the handles, and then operate them again.
If a flush handle cannot fully retract due to the presence of ice, etc., thaw the handle, and then return it to its normal position.
If an excessive load is applied to a flush handle while it is extended and it cannot return to its normal extended position, it may not be possible to perform an entry lock operation. If this occurs, perform a lock or unlock wireless operation to return it to its normal condition.
If the door outside handle illumination lights are dim, the reflective area inside the flush handle may be dirty. Therefore, use a soft cloth to clean off any dirt.
If the vehicle enters a car wash while a flush handle is extended, the door may open or the flush handle may be damaged. Before entering a car wash, make sure that all flush handles are retracted.
