    1. Manual Control Using Windshield Deicer Switch


      1. When the windshield deicer switch is turned on from the air conditioning screen of the multi-display with the power switch on (IG), the windshield deicer switch on signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. When the air conditioning amplifier assembly receives this signal, it heats the windshield deicer wire.

      2. The air conditioning amplifier assembly counts the time of the timer, and after it continuously sends operation signals for approximately 15 minutes, it stops sending the signal.

      3. When the auxiliary battery voltage drops, the windshield deicer system may not operate in order to ensure that there is enough power for other systems.

    2. Outside Temperature-linked Control


      1. When the outside temperature is 0 °C (32 °F) or less with the power switch on (IG), the air conditioning amplifier assembly heats the windshield deicer wire.

      2. The air conditioning amplifier assembly counts the time of the timer, and after it continuously sends operation signals for approximately 15 minutes or the outside temperature increases to 5 °C (41 °F) or more, it stops sending the signal.

      3. When the auxiliary battery voltage drops, the windshield deicer system may not operate in order to ensure that there is enough power for other systems.
