OUTLINE
The power seat control system is provided for the driver and front passenger seats.
The driver seat has a memory function that can store and recall 3 different driver seat position settings. This system is controlled by the position control ECU built into the front power seat switch, which is installed on the driver seat.
The lever-operated "Front, Fold and Return" seat, which allows passengers to enter and exit the rear seats with one touch, is used.
The front seat can be slid down by pulling the lever on its seatback. When the seatback is folded down while in this condition, the front seat automatically slides forward and the headrest*1automatically lowers at the same time to ensure sufficient space for entering and exiting the vehicle.*2, *3
Tech Tips
*1: Models with power vertical adjustment type headrest
*2: When the lever on the back of the front seat is pulled while the "Front, Fold and Return" function is operating, the lift motor lowers the seat to prevent the headrest from interfering with the roof headlining during operation.
*3: When the system detects a jam in front of or behind the seat while the "Front, Fold and Return" function is operating, the operation stops and the seat moves a small amount in the opposite direction.
