    1. When the certification ECU detects an abnormality with the entry and start system, a message appears on the multi-information display. If the hybrid system is stopped in this state, it might not be possible to restart it.

      Off

      Either of the following conditions is met:


      • The hybrid system has started.

      • The power source is turned off.*1
      ACCESSORY On (ACC) state
      IGNITION ON On (IG) state (the hybrid system is not started.)
      Key Certification Indicator Hybrid system start ready state*2

      Tech Tips

      *1: Excludes the hybrid system start possible condition.

      *2: The shift position is in P, the key certification result is OK and the brake pedal is depressed (the stop light switch assembly is on).
