STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The diameter of the steering shaft and steering column tube is enlarged for the steering column assembly, achieving improvements in rigidity.

    2. The steering column assembly consists of a tilt motor, telescopic motor and multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

    3. Position sensors, built into the tilt motor and telescopic motor, make accurate detection of the position of the steering column possible.

    4. The tilt adjustment range is 50.0 mm (1.97 in.) and the telescopic adjustment range is 60.0 mm (2.36 in.).
