CONSTRUCTION
In this system, if the internal pressure of the fuel tank assembly is high before the fuel lid is opened by operating the fuel lid opening switch, the ECM opens the fuel vapor-containment valve (fuel tank solenoid main valve assembly) to release the fuel vapors. As a result, it reduces the internal pressure of the fuel tank assembly to a level close to the atmospheric pressure. While the pressure is being released, images shown in the table below will appear on the multi-information display. Thus, it informs the driver of the standby state from the time the fuel lid opening switch is pressed until the fuel lid opens.
In addition, this display will inform the driver if the fuel lid is open.
