  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Models with LED Type Headlight
    Component Function
    Headlight ECU Sub-assembly RH Receives signals from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and controls the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
    Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly Sends the washer motor and pump signal to the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly Sends washer fluid to the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly in accordance with signals from the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH.
    Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) Sends the headlight low beam illumination signal to the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH.
    Headlight Washer Actuator Sub-assembly LH/RH Sprays washer fluid onto the headlights.
    Models with Halogen Type Headlight
    Component Function
    Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly Sends washer fluid to the headlight washer actuators in accordance with signals from the headlight cleaner relay.
    Headlight Cleaner Relay Receives signals from the washer switch (windshield wiper switch assembly) and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), and controls the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
    Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) Sends the headlight low beam illumination signal to the headlight cleaner relay.
    Headlight Washer Actuator Sub-assembly LH,/RH Sprays washer fluid onto the headlights.
    Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly Outputs the position signal of the windshield wiper switch assembly to the headlight cleaner relay.
