LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. The LIN is used in the following systems:


      1. Door lock system

      2. Power window system

      3. Entry and start system

      4. Charging system

      5. Auto wiper system

      6. Air conditioning system

      7. LED headlight system

    3. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to CAN through the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a gateway function that is also connected to CAN. However, the power window system is not connected to the CAN.
