SYSTEM CONTROL
Accelerating, cornering and stopping are fundamentally based on the ability of the tires to grip the road. However, slippage may occur between the tires and the road during sudden braking on slippery surfaces such as snowy roads or puddles. The ABS function compares the speed and acceleration of each wheel to determine if wheel slippage is occurring, and controls the brake fluid pressure of each wheel cylinder. This prevents the wheels from locking and enhances braking performance while maintaining steering control and vehicle stability.
