A trochoid type oil pump is used to lubricate the gear train. Engine torque is supplied to the oil pump drive rotor via the oil pump drive shaft, and when the engine is operating, the planetary gear is lubricated and the motor is cooled to enhance the lubrication efficiency and cooling performance. Also, a relief valve is provided to prevent the oil pump from generating unnecessarily high pressure, helping to reduce driving losses.
