HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The battery smart unit (battery voltage sensor) monitors the conditions of the HV battery such as voltage, current and temperature, and transmits this information to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

    2. Also, the battery smart unit (battery voltage sensor) detects and transmits the blower speed feedback frequency which is necessary to perform the cooling system control, to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

    3. A leakage detection circuit is provided in the battery smart unit (battery voltage sensor) in order to detect any electrical leakage from the HV battery or high-voltage circuit.

    4. The battery smart unit (battery voltage sensor) converts these signals into digital signals and sends them to the hybrid vehicle control ECU via serial communication.
