    1. Sound Absorption and Insulation Structure around Engine Compartment

      1. Cowl top panel insulator and dash panel insulator outer are provided on the engine compartment side, minimizing penetration of engine noise and road noise into the cabin.

      2. A hood insulators provided below the hood sub-assembly to suppress engine drive noise which penetrates the cabin and provide excellent quietness.

      3. A front fender seal and front side air guide sub-assembly are used in the front fender to reduce the noise which travels through the fender toward the cabin.

      4. Noise absorbing material is provided for the fender splash shield sub-assembly FR, thus reducing sound created by flying sand, flying water and road noise.

      5. The cowl inner silencer, cowl side silencer and dash panel insulator inner are provided in the cabin side. The dash panel insulator inner has a structure which enlarges the cowl side parts while filling in holes and gaps as much as possible. This structure absorbs and insulates mechanical noise such as engine noise and ensures excellent quietness.
