  1. OUTLINE


    1. A combination meter assembly with the TFT monochrome multi-information display or combination meter assembly with the TFT color multi-information display is provided depending on the model.

    2. A multi-information display on which various kinds of information is displayed integrated into the combination meter assembly.

    3. The combination meter assembly has a built-in meter ECU and buzzer.

  2. MAIN FEATURES


    1. Combination Meter Assembly (Models with TFT Color Multi-information Display)


      1. Opening/Ending Ceremony


        • An opening/ending ceremony which allows for anticipation of a pleasant drive is used. The ceremony operates as follows:


          1. When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the multi-information display illuminates.

          2. Afterwards, the dials and needles of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge illuminate.

          3. When the ignition switch is turned to off, the dials and needles of the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge turn off.

          4. After a short time, the multi-information display turns off.

      2. Multi-information Display


        • The multi-information display is located at the center of the combination meter assembly.

        • The multi-information display shows the following information.

          Item Outline
          Shift Position Indicator*1 The current shift position is displayed.
          Outside Temperature

          • The outside temperature is displayed.

          • When the outside temperature drops below 3°C (37°F), an ice warning light illuminates to warn the driver to drive with caution due to possibly icy road conditions. After the ice warning light flashes 10 times, the light stays on. When the temperature reaches 5°C (41°F), the light goes off.
          Drive Mode

          The currently selected drive mode is displayed:


          • ECO Mode

          • SPORT Mode
          Indicator

          When the display conditions are met, the following indicators illuminate:


          • Stop and Start Indicator*2

          • Stop and Start Cancel Indicator*2

          • Eco Driving Indicator Light*1

          • Cruise Control Indicator*3

          • Cruise SET Indicator*3

          • Lane Departure Alert Indicator*4

          • Road Sign Assist Indicator*5

          • Speed Limiter Indicator*6

          • Gear Shift Indicator*7

          • Parking Brake Hold Indicator

          • The following information can be displayed by switching the tabs:

          • The tab can be switched using the RIGHT/LEFT switch of the steering pad switch assembly.
          Vehicle Power Source State*10

          • The vehicle power source state is displayed.

          • The smart indicator light is displayed on the multi-information display.

          • ODO/TRIP Meter

          • Service Mileage*11

          • Stop and Start System Information Pop-up Display*2

          • The odometer, trip meter A, trip meter B and service mileage*11 are displayed.

          • In some situations the following stop and start system information will be temporarily displayed:*2


            • Stop and Start Operation Time

            • Stop and Start Operational Status Messages

          • The item shown can be switched by pressing the TRIP switch of the steering pad switch assembly.
          Meter Panel Luminance Adjustment

          • Meter panel luminance when the taillights are on can be changed.

          • Meter panel luminance adjustment mode at setting tab enables the user to change the meter panel luminance.

            • Average Fuel Consumption after Refueling

            • Total Stop and Start Operation Time between Reset Operations*2

            • Stop and Start Operation Time after Engine Start-up*2

            • Total Amount of Saving Fuel between Reset Operations*2

            • Amount of Saving Fuel after Engine Start-up*2

            • Total Average Vehicle Speed between Reset Operations

            • Average Vehicle Speed after Engine Start-up

            • Total Elapsed Time between Reset Operations

            • Elapsed Time after Engine Start-up

            • Cruising Range

            • Cruising Range after Engine Start-up

          • In addition to the above functions, the following items can be displayed.

          • The item shown can be changed using the UP/DOWN switch of the steering pad switch assembly.

        • When navigation information is being displayed, current navigation information (direction meter) can be displayed. (Models with navigation system)

        • When audio information is being displayed, the audio system can be operated using the multi-information display. (Models with display audio system)


        • The driving assist system information shows the following information. (Models with Toyota safety sense)

      1. Opening/Ending Ceremony


        • A combination meter assembly with TFT monochrome multi-information display shows a welcome message when the ignition switch is turned to ON and shows a farewell message when the ignition switch is turned off.

      2. Multi-information Display


        • The multi-information display is located at the center of the combination meter assembly.

        • The multi-information display shows the following information.

          Meter Panel Luminance Adjustment

          • Meter panel luminance when the taillights are on can be changed.

          • Pressing and holding the TRIP switch of steering pad switch during meter panel luminance adjustment mode enables the user to change the meter panel luminance.

    1. Ignition Switch Expressions


      1. The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.
