THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The theft deterrent system can sound an alarm when somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle, open the engine hood, unlock any door without the door control transmitter assembly*1 or electrical key transmitter sub-assembly*2, or when a battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected.

    2. The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts, an intrusion sensor*3, a security indicator light, a security horn*4 and a theft warning siren assembly*5.

    3. The system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
