The oil pump assembly is uses compact and high efficiency cycloid gear teeth for the chain drive method of the crankshaft.
The oil pump assembly is positioned at the front of the stiffening crankcase assembly to reduce the length of the oil passage, resulting in a minimal use of curved pipes. This has reduced the oil pressure loss and discharge volume of the oil pump assembly.
An inner relief method is used for the relief valve, and by returning engine oil in the oil pump assembly, pump drive loss is reduced while suppressing the fluctuation in the oil level.
The oil pump assembly discharge amount and relief pressure have been optimized to achieve enhanced fuel economy.
