WINDSHIELD / WINDOW GLASS SYSTEM

  1. OUTLINE

    1. An acoustic layer laminated windshield and front door glass are used.

    2. The window defogger system uses a heater wire on the back door glass and back window glass to defog the back door glass and back window glass.

    3. The window defogger system and mirror heater function are activated at the same time when the rear window defogger switch is operated. For details about the mirror heater function, see the Mirror System in the MIRROR (EXT) section.

    4. The front doors are fitted with water repellent coated glass to increase visibility in rain.

        • Do not use detergent containing an abrasive compound or wax to clean the front door glass.

        • If dirt is on the glass, do not attempt to clean it with an automatic car-wash or by opening and closing the front door glass repeatedly.

        • Do not attempt to scrape off ice built up on the front door glass using a metal scraper or similar tool.
