REAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A low-pressure (N2) gas sealed rear shock absorber with a built-in high response type piston valve is used to achieve a high level of controllability, driving stability and ride comfort.

    2. A high response type piston valve provides damping force at very low shock absorber speeds. This enhances steering response and suppresses high-frequency oscillations resulting in enhanced ride comfort.

    3. A resin absorber cap is used to reduce weight.

    4. Spring insulators are provided at the top and bottom ends of the rear coil springs to ensure excellent vibration suppression.

    5. The spring rate of the coil spring is optimized to achieve excellent controllability and ride comfort.
