FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM

  1. OUTLINE

    1. A MacPherson strut type independent suspension, which has L-type lower arms, is used.

    2. Through the use of optimal suspension geometry and optimal allocation of components for the front suspension, excellent controllability and ride comfort have been achieved.

    3. The rigidity of the rubber used in the front suspension support sub-assembly and the spring rate of the front coil spring are optimized to achieve excellent ride comfort.

    4. A high response type piston valve is used in the shock absorber to optimize damping force, achieving both excellent ride comfort and controllability.

    5. A highly-efficient stabilizer layout ensures high roll resistance and excellent controllability.
