  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The CHRB relay is built into the No. 2 HV battery junction block assembly and the CHRG relay is built into the No. 1 HV battery junction block assembly.

  2. OPERATION


    1. When connecting the charging circuit, the CHRB relay and CHRP relays turn on.

    2. Then the CHRG relay turns on and the CHRP relay turns off. As a result, by first directing current though a resistor, the current is controlled and the charging circuit is protected from the inrush current.
