FUEL LID OPENER SYSTEM


  1. OPERATION


    1. The fuel lid lock is locked and unlocked according to the following logic.

      Condition Fuel Lid Opener Switch Operation
      Not Operated Operated
      READY or IG ON Lock

      Lock


      • Fuel lid opener switch operations are ignored.
      IG OFF Lock

      Unlock


      • However, the fuel lid will be locked in the following circumstances.


        • The fuel lid door is opened and then closed

        • The fuel lid is left for 5 minutes without being opened.

      Tech Tips

      In addition to the logic shown above, the fuel lid lock will remain unlocked when the following messages are shown in the multi-information display.


      • "Fuel Filler Door Sensor Malfunction To Reset: Close Fuel Filler Door, Fully Open and Close Again"

      • "To Start FC System or Shift from P Position, Close Fuel Filler Door"
