SEAT HEATER SYSTEM

  1. SYSTEM CONTROL

    1. Front Seat Heater System

      1. When the front seat heater is set to the Hi side, the Hi circuit and the Hi/Lo circuit become a parallel circuit, and current flows through both the Hi circuit and Hi/Lo circuit to heat the seat quickly. When the seat becomes warm, the Hi circuit is turned off by thermostat A, and with only the Hi/Lo circuit energized, the seat temperature decreases. When the seat temperature has decreased, current flow to the Hi circuit begins again. In this way, fluctuations in the seat surface temperature are reduced.

      2. When the front seat heater is set to the Lo side, the Hi circuit and the Hi/Lo circuit become a series circuit, and the seat temperature is stabilized at a low temperature.

    2. Rear Seat Heater System

      1. When the rear seat heater is set to the Hi side, the Hi circuit and the Hi/Lo circuit become a parallel circuit, and current flows through both the Hi circuit and Hi/Lo circuit to heat the seat quickly.

      2. When the rear seat heater is set to the Lo side, the Hi circuit and the Hi/Lo circuit become a series circuit, and the seat temperature is stabilized at a low temperature.
