WINDSHIELD / WINDOW GLASS SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Integration Control and Panel Assembly Rear Window Defogger and Mirror Heater Switch Sends the defogger wire operation signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
    Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly Operates and controls the rear window defogger system in accordance with signals from the rear window defogger and mirror heater switch.
    Back Window Glass Rear Window Defogger Wire Applies electrical current to a rear window defogger wire in the back window glass to defog from the back window glass.

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. The rear window defogger system is activated when the power switch is on (IG), and the rear window defogger and mirror heater switch is operated. The air conditioning amplifier assembly operates the rear window defogger wire for approximately 15 minutes.
