WINDSHIELD / WINDOW GLASS SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Integration Control and Panel Assembly Front Wiper Deicer Switch Sends the deicer wire operation signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
    Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly Operates and controls the front wiper deicer system in accordance with signals from the front wiper deicer switch.
    Windshield Glass Windshield Deicer Wire Applies electrical current to a windshield deicer wire in the windshield glass to generate heat and remove ice from the windshield glass.

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. The front wiper deicer system is activated when the power switch is on (IG), and the front wiper deicer switch is operated. The air conditioning amplifier assembly operates the windshield deicer wire for approximately 15 minutes.
