The hydrogen pump is a component of the FC stack assembly.
The hydrogen pump is built into the FC stack assembly, where it takes the hydrogen fuel supplied from the injector and circulates it inside the FC stack.
A roots type pump has been employed to provide a high flow rate, and at the same time, suitable materials have been employed in consideration of hydrogen embrittlement and rust due to water generated from the FC stack. Also, the rotor portion employs a resin coating for abrasion resistance and to prevent rust.
