  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Using the rotation of the final gear to scoop up oil, a scooping type lubrication system that lubricates each gear and bearing with oil has been adopted. This allows a reduction in the torque used to drive the oil pump. Also, by using an oil catch tank to temporarily collect the oil that has been scooped up, a stable supply of oil is available to lubricate the geartrain.

    2. In addition to the trochoid oil pump, an oil pump with motor assembly has been adopted. Through external piping from the oil pump with motor assembly, transaxle fluid is supplied to the top of the transaxle, fluid flow within the transaxle is optimized, and cooling performance is improved.
