  1. FUNCTION


    1. The glow plug controller independently controls the length of time for which current is applied to the glow plug assemblies in each cylinder in accordance with signals from the ECM.

    2. The glow plug controller has a function to detect open circuits in the glow plug assemblies. When the glow plug controller detects an open circuit in a glow plug assembly, it sends a signal to the ECM.
