      1. When the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) detects an abnormality with the smart entry and start system, a message appears on the multi-information display. If the engine is stopped in this state, it might not be possible to restart it.

        Either of the following conditions is met:


        • The engine has started.

        • The power source mode is turned off.
        ACCESSORY On (ACC)
        IGNITION ON On (IG)
        Key Warning Light Engine start ready state (the shift lever is in P*1, the key certification result is OK and the brake pedal*1 or clutch pedal*2 is depressed)

        • *1: Models with automatic transmission

        • *2: Models with manual transmission
