  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Radio Receiver Assembly*1
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.

    • Has a built-in port to connect auxiliary devices. This makes it possible to play a USB memory device, portable audio player (USB type) or Apple product through the audio head unit.

    Radio and Display Receiver Assembly*2
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Displays the audio source screen and setting screen.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.

    • Sends status information of each audio source to the combination meter assembly.*4

    Navigation Receiver Assembly*3
    • Plays back audio from each audio source, such as radio, CD and Bluetooth audio.

    • Displays the audio source screen and setting screen.

    • Sends audio signals from each audio source to the speakers.

    • Sends status information of each audio source to the combination meter assembly.*4

    No. 1 Amplifier Antenna Assembly

    • - FM


    • Receives radio broadcasting signals (AM/FM).

    • Amplifies the received radio broadcasting signals using the built-in amplifier antenna assembly, and sends them to the audio head unit.

    Window Glass Antenna Wire (Front)


    • DAB*5

    Receives radio broadcasting signals (DAB).
    Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna Assembly*5 Amplifies DAB signals from the DAB antenna and sends them to the audio head unit.
    Steering Pad Switch Assembly Sends operation signals, such as volume switch, mode switch and seek switch operation, to the audio head unit via spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
    No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly*2, *3
    • Sends audio and/or video signals to the audio head unit when an auxiliary device is connected.

    • Communicates with the audio head unit via a USB communication line when a USB memory device, portable audio player (USB type) or Apple product is connected.

    Map Light Assembly


    • - Telephone Microphone Assembly*6


    • Recognizes speech during a hands-free call or voice recognition system operation*7.

    • Transmits voice input signals to the radio receiver assembly*1, radio and display receiver assembly*2, navigation receiver assembly*3 or telematics trasceiver*8.

    Combination Meter Assembly
    • Displays information such as audio status information received from the audio head unit on the multi-information display.*4

    • Sends operation signals to the audio head unit when the audio system is operated via the multi-information display.*4

    • Sends a vehicle speed signal to the audio head unit.

    Telematics Transceiver*8
    • Sends a part of audio signals sent from the radio receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*2 to the speakers.

    • Sends microphone voice signals sent from the telephone microphone to the radio receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*2.

    Stereo Component Amplifier Assembly*9 Amplifies audio signals sent from the navigation receiver assembly and sends them to the speakers.
