FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The transfer shift actuator assembly consists of the limit switch, 4WD detection switch, L4 detection switch, worm wheel gear, driven gears, actuator spiral spring, transfer shift motor and fork shaft.

    2. The limit switch has 3 contact point switches (TL1, TL2 and TL3). The combination of 3 contact point switches detects the transfer shift motor position (H2, H4 or L4).

    3. An actuator spiral spring is used. If the operating resistance of the fork shaft is large, the shift rotation is partially stored in the actuator spiral spring. Afterward, when the operating resistance decreases, the spring force causes the shift fork to slide.
