CONSTRUCTION
The shift and select mechanism consists of 4 gear shift fork shafts, 4 gear shift forks, 3 gear shift heads and a shift and select lever shaft.
The shift detent mechanism consists of 5 balls and 5 compression springs.
A slide ball bearing is used on the support portion of the shift and select lever shaft to reduce sliding resistance. As a result, a smooth shift change is possible.
A gear shift fork pad is provided on the tip of the No. 2 and No. 3 gear shift forks to reduce sliding resistance.
