    2. Upper Body


      1. The cowl that connects the front suspension towers employs a circular structure.

      2. Thus suspension tower rigidity in the vertical and horizontal directions has been enhanced.

    3. Floor Panel


      1. The joints between various structural elements of the body employ continuous flanges for greater joint strength. This structure also enhances overall panel torsional rigidity.

      2. The rigidity around the front seat installed area has been enhanced to suppress occupant movement due to vehicle' s turning, thus enhancing a sense of security.

      3. A rear cross-member has been added on the interior side of the floor. This provides effective support of the wheel housing inner panel for enhanced body torsional rigidity.

      4. 3-way reinforcements have been installed between the rear side member and inner rear floor cross-member to enhance the joint rigidity of the body shell.

      5. These structures enhance body torsional rigidity and suspension mounting point rigidity.
