    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked
      • When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When a registered key leaves all of the actuation areas around the doors, the lights that operate turn off.


      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      Door Lock/Unlock-linked
      • When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.


      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      Door Open/Close-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      Power Switch-linked When the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.

      Delay

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is operated.


      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An power switch-linked function is used.


      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • The door unlock-linked function is operated.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the power switch is off.


      • Map Light

      • Rear Dome Light

      • Footwell Light

      When approximately 40 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the power switch is off.

      Power Switch Illumination
      Battery Saving
      • When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The battery saving function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


        • The power switch is turned on (ACC) or on (IG).

        • Any door is opened and closed.

        • The back door is opened and closed.

        • Any door is unlocked.

        • The key enters any exterior actuation area.

      • Glove Box Light Assembly

      Interior Light Auto Cut Function
      • When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The interior light auto cut function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


        • The power switch is turned on (ACC) or on (IG).

      • Footwell Light

      • Vanity Light Assembly (LH/RH)

      • No. 1 Luggage Compartment Light Assembly (LH)
