LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. LIN is used for the smart entry and start system, power window system and sliding roof system.

    3. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to CAN through the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a gateway function that is also connected to CAN. However, the power window system and sliding roof system are not connected to the CAN.
