  1. OPERATION


    1. A fuel cut function is used to stop the fuel pump when any of the SRS airbags have deployed. When the hybrid vehicle control ECU detects the airbag deployment signal from the airbag ECU assembly, it transmits an engine off signal to the ECM. Upon receiving this signal, the ECM turns off the C/OPN relay.

    2. After the fuel cut function has been activated, turning the power switch from off to on cancels the fuel cut function, and the engine can be restarted.
